Shooting in the wall

Blue-Whites played a decent game against one of the best teams of the league.

The third contest with SKA this season started with game pre-show. Team was motivated and started to play furious in enemy waters from the start. In one of the fast attacks our players Maxim Afinogenov and Andrei Mironov made everything and Ivan Igumnov did not miss from that promising opportunities. We dominated on the ice outshooting opponent 17-6 in first 20 minutes.

SKA got the momentum later in the game thanks to our penalties. During one of the powerplay opportunities our ex-forward Dmitry Kagarlitsky showed how good he is. He got the puck and moved closer to the net where Kaga overplayed Ivan Bocharov. Forward scored his first goal since Sep, 22. Kagarlitsky helped them to score the goal of the night when Nail Yakupov made a powerful shot.

We were not done yet. In six minutes Andrei Alexeyev got a puck from Dmitry Moiseyev and showed some moves near Alexander Samonov to make the game even. In overtime we had some possession however the game moved to shootout series. Only Evgeny Ketov was able to score in nine attempts and he helped SKA to get 11^th win in a row.

Dynamo will come back action on December, 17 at home against Jokerit.
