The post helps us

Dynamo Moscow earned an important win over CSKA.

After a hard game against the top team of the conference, we needed to play against one of the biggest rivals – CSKA. Ivan Muranov and Artyom Volkov jumped back to the lineup instead of Artyov Fyodorov and Sergei Boikov.

CSKA had a possession in the first period, but it wasn’t dominant. CSKA opened the scoreboard with a goal from our ex-player Semyon Pankratov who left us this summer.

In the second we had a couple of powerplays, but the goal happened in equal strength. Vadim Shipachyov scored his 250th goal in the KHL and his 78th goal for Dynamo becoming the best club’s goalscorer in the KHL era.

In the third period, teams exchanged goals. Dmitry Rashevsky after a series of rebounds gave us a lead however in a few minutes Konstantin Okulov tied it up. In the shootout series, Oscar Lindberg and Eric O’Dell scored their attempts helping us to secure a win. Mikhail Grigorenko hit the post in the decisive attempt.

CSKA – Dynamo Moscow – 2:3 SO (1:0, 0:1, 1:1, 0:1, 0:1)

Goals: 1:0 Pankratov (18:15), 1:1 Shipachyov (Mironov, Galiyev, 35:42), 1:2 Rashevsky (O’Dell, Lindberg, 54:13), 2:2 Okulov (Kamenev, Slepyshev, 57:57), 2:3 O’Dell (65:00, SO)
