Long wait for a win

Dynamo finally grabbed two points after matchup with Vityaz

Dynamo came to the game against Vityaz on a 3-game losing streak and without top forward Dmitrij Jaskin, Daniil Tarasov and Andre Petersson. Despite teams made 31 shots on goal in the first 20s there were not many dangerous opportunities.

Our first powerplay of the game happened in the second 20s. And we used it. Juuso Hietanen fired from the blue line and Vadim Shipachyov was first on the rebound. Hietanen scored 124th point for Dynamo and passed Martins Karsums in scoring leaders among imports in history of our club.

Players hit the post three times, twice it helped to Ivan Bocharov and once to Igor Saprykin. Vityaz tied the game in the beginning of the third period Quinton Howden used a mistake from Michal Cajkovsky to score. Accidentally, Cajkovsky became the hero of the game. With 3:37 his shot became the decisive in the whole game. Miks Indrasis set the final score with an empty-netter.

Dynamo will come back to action on January, 28 at home ice against Torpedo.
