Goal-scoring night in Nizhny

Dynamo Moscow lost to Torpedo with 4-6 score

It was our third contest with Torpedo this season. We won the first two games against team from Volga and Oka rivers. Our forward Teemu Pulkkinen missed this game because of flu. That helped Miks Indrasis to come back to our roster.

In first period teams scored more goals in their last meeting in Nizhny Novgorod. Vadim Shipachyov scored on 23rd second of the game after breakaway. Officials needed about five minutes to legalize this goal. They reviewed episode on possible leaving the ice surface. Both teams played with many mistakes. Torpedo tied the game on 14th minute and then used the first powerplay chance.

In the beginning of the second Dmitrij Jaskin tied the game, however in 1:32 Artyom Alyaev restored their lead. Ivan Kruglov with a deflection made the score 3-3. But Torpedo was a leader in the game after 40 minutes of the play. Ivan Igumnov’s goal on 46th minute of the game seemed to lead the contest to overtime. But Ty Rattie decided to define the winner in regular time. Drew Shore with an empty-netter set the final score – 6-4 for Torpedo.
