Quick overtime
In the second home game after the break Dynamo grabbed two points against Barys Nur-Sultan
After loss in last game against Neftekhimik coached decided to use the same pairs of defensemen that we used before the break
Teams started the game very active. Daniil Tarasov could change the score in first shifts of the play. Dynamo was more aggressive and finally score with Artyom Volkov’s shot from the distance. However, Barys tied the game quickly. Leonid Metalnikov with repeated shot made it 1-1. With 40 seconds before the first intermission Nikita Mikhailis gave the lead to Kazakh team.
For the second period our coached made a decision to change goalies. Ivan Bocharov replaced Alexander Yeryomenko. Dynamo created good number of chances but only Igor Polygalov’s redirection helped us to tie the game.
In the third period both teams played without neutral zone. Both goalies played solid that night and the game was decided in overtime. #23 Dmitrij Jaskin scored game-winning goal on 23rd second of the extra-time.
Dynamo will continue the journey on Saturday against Sibir Novosibirsk.
