Tiredness

First time since pandemic we had a seven thousand fans on the stands. Andrei Pedan returned to the lineup after injury.

In first period our netminder Ivan Bocharov was able to stop 14 shots, CSKA played more active in the beginning. We answered with another powerplay goal from top scorer of the season Vadim Shipachyov.

Teams started to get more penalties in the second period. Both teams played well in penalty killing. Anton Wedin hit the post and later in the end of the period he made it 2-0 for our troops.

It was even game when we started the third one. With 11 minutes left to play Anton Slepyshev with a powerful shot cut our lead. In the very end Pavel Karnaukhov tanked to the crease and buried the puck to the net sending both teams to overtime where CSKA took the momentum, pulled the goalie and made it 3-2.
