Spartak’s blitzkrieg

Spartak won the second Moscow derby of the season.

Our coaches decided to put Alexander Yeryomenko in the net, Anton Wedin returned to the first line while Ivan Igumnov was missing the game.

It didn’t start well. Spartak needed only 04:36 from the first faceoff to make it 3-0 and to send Yeryomenko to the bench. It was hard to come back to this kind of the game where opponent started to secure the score from the real beginning.

Our best goalscorer found the back of the net in the second period giving us hope. But they were playing very strict and disciplined. We struggled with getting in their waters and creating opportunities. Meanwhile, Maxim Tsyplakov with a great breakaway helped them to restore a 3-goal lead.

On Tuesday we’ll continue to play in Moscow hosting Ak Bars.

Spartak – Dynamo Moscow – 4:1 (3:0, 0:1, 1:0)

Goals: 1:0 Khokhlachyov (00:58), 2:0 Drozdov (02:27), 3:0 Shirokov (04:36, PP), 3:1 Galiyev (Lindberg, 27:40), 4:1 Pettersson (Tsyplakov, 52:04)

Goalies: Krasikov – Yeryomenko, Bocharov
