Good way to finish the first part of the regular season.

Dynamo Moscow defeated Avangard Omsk in Balashikha.

Both teams struggled with roster and game in the last couple of weeks. Our team lost before this clash defenseman Slava Voynov. Goalie Alexander Yeryomenko started in the net and played his 400th KHL game for Dynamo Moscow.

At the last moment Avangard agreed with local authorities to have spectators at the stands, so it’s make the game more entertaining. We had momentum in the first period, didn’t capitalize on power play but we got a reward in the next one.

But first Avangard put more pressure on Alexander Yeryomenko, our goalie played decently that night. Later we opened the scoreboard, Stanislav Galiyev redirected the puck after Sergei Boikov’s shot on the net. In the third period we survived during penalty killing, however when Andrei Sergeyev left the penalty box and joined defense the puck deflected from him to the net.

Soon Ivan Muranov scored a beautiful top shelf goal to restore our lead in the game. In the last moments of the game Anton Wedin sent the puck into the empty net. Dynamo Moscow for the second time this season beat Avangard.

Avangard – Dynamo Moscow – 1:3 (0:0, 0:1, 1:2)
