KO at lockdown

Dynamo Moscow suffered in locked Latvia.

After the loss against SKA our coaches decided to give a shot to goalie Ivan Kulbakov who played his first game for Dynamo, Gleb Shashkov was dressed as #13 forward.

In the first shift we gave the opponent a powerplay chance. Oskars Cibulskis fired from the blue to make it 1-0 for Riga. Later Ralfs Freibergs got a game misconduct for kneeing Vladislav Yefremov who got a serious injury. We needed only 20 seconds to tie the game. But it was only our shot during five minutes of man advantage.

In the second teams played very strictly with a lot of energy.  Both teams had powerplay chance however Dinamo Riga was more effective in this aspect – Cibulskis scored another goal. Coaches made changes for the third period – Anton Wedin was promoted to Shipachyov’s line. Dinamo scored another goal on powerplay – Gints Mejia beat Ivan Kulbakov who finished his game. We tried but their goalie Johan Mattsson played solid. In the end Lauris Darzins set the final score – 4:1 for Dinamo Riga.

We’re moving to Belarus where will face Dinamo Minsk on Tuesday.

Dinamo Riga – Dynamo Moscow – 4:1 (1:1, 1:0, 2:0)
