Dynamo lost to SKA in last game of home series
Before the game we learned that our forward Rob Klinkhammer will miss about a month. Alexander Yeryomenko started in the net his 500th KHL game.
SKA scored on the first shift. Andrei Kuzmenko needed only 17 seconds to put his name into the scoresheet. Soon Artyom Shvets-Rogovoi doubled their lead. However Dynamo with every minute started to play their own game and it led to our first goal of the game. Anton Wedin helped Dmitry Rashevsky score his 14th goal of the season. We could even tie the game but Lars Johansson played solidly.
SKA played well in the second period due to statistics, but our team played confident. We made only one mistake when during the change of shifts Andrei Kuzmenko found himself alone to grab-and-go. In the last seconds of the period SKA was close to make the score bigger.
Dynamo started the third one with a lot of energy. Stanislav Galiyev and Andrei Sergeyev didn’t capitalize on good chances. However Sergeyev cut the lead of SKA with a powerplay goal. Mikhail Fisenko’s penalty killed our hopes for a comeback.
Dynamo Moscow is heading to the European tour where they will face Dinamo from Riga and Minsk.
