Being on the edge

Our coaches didn’t change only one pair of defensemen before game #4, Ivan Bocharov returned to the net. Coaches wanted to refresh the lines after two losses. It reflected on the energy of the team.

In first period our team played more in the offensive zone, made more shots, however, the score remained unchanged. At the end of the frame, Daniil Tarasov fought with Artyom Shvets-Rogovoi.

After the intermission SKA scored two powerplay goals from three chances. In the third SKA played very accurately stopping all our hopes. With three minutes left to play Shvets-Rogovoi made it 3-0. However, Ivan Igumnov buried the rebound to score our lonely game of the night.

On Friday we’ll play do or die game in Saint Petersburg.
