Sibir’s robbery

Our winning streak was stopped in game against Sibir.

Magnus Pajaarvi returned to the practices a few days later, in this game he was moved to our game roster that led to different changes in our lines.

Sibir is still fighting for playoffs, so the opponent was in position of ‘do or die’. Our team made some huge mistakes that helped Sibir to get on the board during powerplay. However the second Sibir’s powerplay was converted into our shorthanded goal which was scored by Ivan Muranov.

The momentum changed in the second period. Their goalie Harri Sateri played a decent game between the pipes. Vadim Shipachyov gave us the lead with deflection from Sibir players. With 21 seconds left in the period Alexander Sharov buried the rebound to tie the game.

The third period started with 31st goal of the season for Dmitrij Jaskin. Sibir fought back and Evgeny Chesalin made the game even with 1:17 to play in the regular time.

In overtime Mikael Ruohomaa had at least three real chances to finish the game in one episode. So, he decided to finished it in the shootout series.

Dynamo will continue the home series on January 21 against Barys.
