Angry brothers

Dynamo Moscow lost in the first game of the 2021 year.

Our team finished last year with a good 3-game winning record. The team deserved a two-way rest and backed to practice on January, 2. We had enough players on our injury list and Sergei Boykov joined their list. Coaches decided to put Emil Garipov on the net. Dinamo Riga used a 20-years old Voris on the net.

Our team started the game pretty well, Dmitrij Jaskin buried the rebound, and then Oleg Zaytsev scored his first KHL goal. However, in the next shift, Martins Dzierkals cut our lead. In the second period, Dinamo Riga turned the game around with pretty plays from Roberts Bukarts and JC Lipon.

Andrei Sergeyev tied the things up when the third frame started. Then Dinamo scored two goals in a 15-seconds span to grab two points this night.

Dynamo will continue a road trip in Kazan on January 6.
