18 seconds that changed the game
Dynamo lost to Lokomotiv for the third time this season.
Coaches decided to put into the net young goalie Georgy Kuznetsov who played his first game of 2020-2021 season. It was third meeting between two teams in current regular season, we lost in both previous meeting with the same score 2-3.
Lokomotiv started better but then we capitalized on powerplay. Daniil Tarasov scored his 67th goal for Dynamo in KHL and tied Denis Kokarev for first place in this scoring race. Andrei Sergeyev picked his 100th assist in KHL.
In the second we again scored on the powerplay that time Dmitrij Jaskin finished nice play from his partners. And Lokomotiv turned the game around. Rude mistake and they made it 1-2 on 5-on-2 (!) breakaway. In the third Lokomotiv needed only 18 seconds to turn the game around.
Again Lokomotiv, again 2-3.
The last game before the first break Dynamo will play on Sunday against CSKA on home ice.
