500th KHL Win
Time to get revenge.
After experiments in the game against Vityaz that better to forget, our coaches decided to use classic lines in battle against Avangard.
In the first period both teams had equal numbers in time in attack and power play opportunities. Dynamo better used their chances. Dmitry Kagarlitsky opened the score, the puck got in from the back of Emil Garipov.
Avangard pushed hard in the second period and used their opportunities. Sergei Tolchinsky tied the game in powerplay before the second intermission and got a lead right after it. In the last seconds of the game we struggled in scoring however we were paid for all efforts. Oscar Lindberg was first on the rebound to tie it with only 43 second left to play in regular time.
In overtime Daniil Tarasov finished a nice feed from Lindberg to clinch our 500th win in KHL.
Dynamo will return to action on Friday in Yaroslavl against Lokomotiv.
