Dynamo came back from -3 deficit in derby against Spartak

It was third meeting against Spartak Moscow this season, in two previous games we lost 1-3 and beat them with 5-0 score.

The game started quite good for our team. In the beginning Vadim Shipachyov scored during our double power play. Then Spartak took the lead in the game with four unanswered goals, three of them happened during our penalty killing opportunities.

In the third we started a huge comeback. Dmitrij Jaskin, Andrei Mironov and Daniil Tarasov needed only 10 minutes to make the game even. Later Jaskin, Tarasov had a couple of opportunities to finish the game in our favor. Dynamo dominated in overtime however their goalie Julius Hudacek played quiet good and blocked our shots.

In shootout series Oscar Lindberg was closed to give us a win but our former Dman Andrei Kuteikin killed all our hopes with a tremendous shot top shelf. Later Shirokov scored game decisive goal and Lindberg cannot repeat his scoring attempt.
