Zero points at the start

1400th game in career for Vladimir Krikunov didn’t turn to a win

After two losses at the start and not good physical conditions of key players coaches decided to make big changes in lines. Vadim Shipachyov was moved to the second line where he played with Daniil Tarasov and Vladimir Bryukvin, while Ilya Shipov was mover to the first. Goalie Alexander Yeryomenko played his first game of the season.

For Vladimir Krikunov it was game #1400 in professional coaching career.

At the beginning the active start showed that our team learned lessons. On the 7th minute Dmitry Kagarlitsky set up Dmitrij Jaskin with a pass and the best sniper of last season did not miss from that opportunity. Unfortunately, Lokomotiv found a way to tie the game. Yeryomenko blocked a shot from Nikolai Kovalenko, however, was not able to stop Yegor Averin.

In the second period we were dominating on the ice, and luckily Shipachyov found Tarasov with a pass to restore our lead. Visitors turned the game in the third period – Rushan Rafikov fired from long-distance, Denis Alexeyev redirected the puck into the net.

Our team is heading to road trip, on Saturday we’ll play against Barys in Nur-Sultan.
