Dynamo defeated Spartak for the fifth straight time in the season
What could be better than Moscow Derby in first round of playoffs? The pressure was so high even in first game of the series that started with a beauty shot from Dmitrij Jaskin. We could close the game even in the first 20s however Pankratov’s goal was disallowed because of goalie interference.
In the second period our forward Andre Petersson decided the game with two goals in four minutes span. He sent their goalie Julius Hudacek to the bench. Spartak did not give up, our opponent decided to show fists after the game was done. Maxim Goncharov jumped to Jaskin, however our forward preferred to stay cool and did not collect penalty minutes.
Penalty boxes were full of players. In the last minutes of the game teams exchanged with goals – Anatoly Nikontsev beat Alexander Yeryomenko, when Vladimir Bryukvin set the final score – 5-1.
