Five in a row

Blue-Whites are moving to the break with a 5-game winning streak in the bag.

Both teams came to this game with a lot of energy. Dynamo won last four games in a row, when Lokomotiv demolished its opponents with 5-0 score twice.

Lokomotiv started the game well opening the scoreboard in the beginning of the 6th minute. Our snipers tried to tie the game as soon as possible. Teemu Pulkkinen made it however the goal was illegal due to high sticking play. Dmitrij Jaskin tied the game and he set a new club record for most goal in one KHL regular season – 27!

Yaroslavl team restored their lead in the beginning of the second. Our team challenged with episode for offside and we were right. Stephane Da Costa flied to the zone a little bit earlier than a puck. First line gave Dynamo a lead when Jaskin helped Shipachyov to score. Our defenseman Juuso Hietanen picked his second point of the night, earlier he earned his 250th KHL point.

Third period was full of tight battles. Dynamo used a chance on power play. Vladimir Bryukvin redirected the puck into the net after Mikhail Grigoryev’s shot. Ivan Bocharov played his game till the end stopping all Yaroslavl attempts.

Dynamo finished this part of the season on 3rd place of the West.
