Vadim Shipachyov came to the game with a great 12-game scoring streak, forward Anton Nazarevich played his first KHL game.
From the beginning, teams played very accurately and the first period wasn’t exciting for fans. John Gilmour could open the scoreboard at the end of the period, however, Bocharov denied his attempts.
In the second our team played more creatively, but only CSKA was able to score. Maxim Sorkin scored from the rebound. CSKA dominated at the end of the game, Sorkin was close to the second goal of the game.
In the third period, Dynamo dominated on the ice. Alexei Kudashov moved Rob Klinkhammer to Vadim Shipachyov’s line. CSKA was waiting for opportunities and found them. Pavel Karnaukov with a beautiful wrister extended the lead. In the end, Gilmour sent an empty-netter to finish a deal.
