Regarding our lineup Ivan Bocharov returned to the lineup, Sergei Boikov replaced Michal Cajkovsky in D-lines.
It was a high-tempo game from the first faceoff, unfortunately only Admiral scored in the first when Vyacheslav Ushenin beat Bocharov. At the beginning of the second Dmitry Rashevsky tied the game after a nice feed from Rob Klinkhammer. Later Admiral pushed really hard and of the toughest guy in the league Mark Verba restored Admiral’s lead.
At the start of the third Vadim Shipachyov assisted to Stan Galiev and Rashevsky to pick his 509th and 510th KHL assist. It helped him to get to the first spot in all-time stats of the league among best assistants, he also picked his 750th KHL point. The record is 928 points.
However Admiral answered back with Mark Verva’s second of the night. At the last minute of the play Nikolai Chebykin scored a beauty and lucky goal that he cannot believe in it. Vadim Shipacyov with an empty-netter set the final score.
We’ll finish road trip in Novosibirsk in two days.
