Entering the playoffs

The record 68-game regular season came to an end. In the last appearance we hosted Spartak. Both teams didn’t have any reasons to fight till the end except one, it’s still the derby.

Dynamo started well, easily establishing 2-0 lead after Vladislav Yefremov and Alexander Skorenov’s goal. At the start of the third Andrei Mironov scored a beauty goal to make it 3-0.

Spartak woke up later. Firstly, Ilya Konovalov with a huge save stopped Alexander Khokhlachyov. Unfortunately he cannot do anything with Nikita Chibrikov with 12 seconds left to play in the second period.

At the start of the third period Vadim Fattakhov made our lead more vulnerable with his first KHL goal from a very close angle. However Yegor Zaytsev in the middle of the third killed all doubts and send us to the playoffs in a great mode.

The second part of the season is starting on March 2.
